The National Festival of LGBT History continues in Manchester! The event results from months of work by a dedicated, passionate team, and of course none of this would be possible without the efforts of all those gazetted presenters, some of whom traveling across the country, to share a so crucial, and often hidden, past.
The Manchester hub is based at the People’s History Museum, which features a special exhibition, ‘Never Going Underground: The Fight for LGBT+ Rights. This exhibition is complemented by an evening of programming open to the public. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by!
Be sure to follow @LGBTHM for more information during the Festival, and check out out national media partners over at The Canary.
